Mongolia, and Turkey, as the member of the Indonesian delegate
representing the Indonesian tax experts in the meetings held by the
Study Group of Asian Tax Administration and Research (SGATAR),and in
the meetings of Joint Commissions between The People Republic of China
and Indonesia and between Vietnam and Indonesia.
He was
also appointed as the member of the Team of the Amendment of the
Indonesian Tax Laws of 1994 (Indonesian Tax Reform of 1994), and as Tax
Attorney of the Directorate General of Taxes to defend the tax cases in
the Indonesian Tax courts.
After
resigning from the Directorate General of Taxes he joined the Public
Accountant Office of Santoso Harsokusomo, a member of Horwarth
International from April 1995 up to March 1998. In this firm, he was
appointed as the Director of Tax Department and a contributor writer of
the CCH International published by Horwarth International. From June
1998 up to March 2001 he joined the Public Accountant Office of Hanadi,
Sarwoko & Sandjaja, Ernst & Young. In this firm he was
appointed as the Director of Tax Litigation Service and a Tax Attorney.
Jaja
Zakaria is a frequent speaker at public taxation seminars, and writer
of articles on taxation publications and the author of some books of
taxation.
He holds
license as a Tax Consultant from the Directorate General of Taxes and
license as a Tax Attorney from the Board for Tax Dispute Settlement.
His Tax Consultant License Number is SI-290/PJ/1997, and his Tax
Attorney License Number is Kep-077/SP.5/2002.
